Service Tech I
Marion Park District is seeking a Full-time Park Service Tech I.  Successful candidate must have a strong background in machine repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical abilities.   Candidate will be working various jobs in the park system and will be responsible for park improvements and maintenance, including but not limited to:  mowing, janitorial services, painting, playground and equipment repairs, trash pickup, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.  Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and must obtain an Illinois Pesticide Operator License within 6 months of hire.  Candidate must have a High School diploma or equivalent and must be able to lift 50 lbs.  Candidate must also be a team player and able to work with the public.  Marion Park District offers competitive wages as well as a full benefits package including:  medical, dental, vision, life, IMRF retirement, and paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick).
