Public Hearing to discuss the
2019 payable 2020 Tax Levy
1. Call to Order
Commissioner Gott called the Tax Levy Hearing of the Marion Park District to order at 6:57 p.m. with the following Commissioners present:
Commissioner McReynolds, Commissioner Welch, Commissioner Gott. Commissioner Gardiner and Commissioner Sheffler are absent.
2. Open Forum – 2019 payable 2020 Tax Levy
There are no public attendees at the Tax Levy Hearing and no public items to discuss.
Commissioner Gardiner arrived at the meeting at 7:01 p.m.
3. Discussion of Ordinance 19-05 Tax Levy 2019 payable 2020
a. Kim Meyer CPA of Hudgens and Meyer CPA.
Commissioner Gott asked Director Reed if Kim Meyer was going to be present with Director Reed responding he didn’t believe so. Commissioner Gott asked if there was anything to add to the Tax Levy information where it was discovered that the dates / years were wrong on the Ordinance that will be presented during the regular meeting. Administrative Assistant Kim corrected the dates on Ordinance 19-05.
4. Adjournment
Commissioner Gardiner made a motion at 7:04 p.m.; seconded by Commissioner McReynolds to adjourn the Tax Levy Hearing. Roll called. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
